6th gear swap
I will be putting my 4.44 gears probably tomorrow, and I was wondering the following:
Will an RSX-S (or any other Honda with a lower ratio) 6th gear be interchangable with the one found in the S?
If its posible, then this would greatly help with cruising revs when doing a diff mod.

I highly doubt it, as the S's Trans is unique to te entire AHM model line.

I have the 4.57's and I get 25-26mpg normal, and 31mpg on long trips.....
my normal gas mileage went UP (from 21-23mpg), and my freeway mileage dropped about 2mpg. i don't think it's worth the hassle in any way, shape or form. IMO

I wouldn't worry about it. at 75 mph you're still only around 4300 rpm in the '04. you could cruise on the highway for hours on end at 5000 rpm and still be fine.
I'm most likely doing 4.56 myself down the road

Can't you just put the sixth gear in from an '04 or '05 transmission?
Crusing at 2.7-3k for 65mph, not only will it help in milage, but also in engine longetivity.
