Default 65+ MPH whine/high pitched noise?

Just wondering if this is normal for the AP2. Its a 65+ mph whine or high pitched noise (sounds like whoooooo) when I release the throttle and coast, when i'm back on the gas the noise goes away does anyone have this noise in their car?

This could be literally anything. Does it go away if you go faster? Does it depend on speed or on RPM? Does it change frequency with either speed ot RPM? Etc.

Yes it depends on Speed not RPM's, sounds like its coming from the rear. When i release the gas pedal around 70mph the noise will be heard, and as the speed reduces it gradually goes away around 50mph.

Under accleration, or when I have my foot to the pedal I can cancel out the noise, its only when I release the pedal and the car naturally decelerates itsself when the noise happens.

Have you checked your tires? Could just be tire noise. Could be the diff going out. Could be anything in the driveline, in fact. Good luck.

sounds like your differential. I have a whine but I also have an aftermarket ring and pinion, so the whine is expected. Might want to get your Diff. checked.
