Because I believe everything that's made is a compromise, I am inclined to think that an oil (Gulf Formula ULE) that is geared towards being extra safe on catalysts probably isn't protecting your engine as much another oil could. I don't have facts to back this up but if someone wants to really dig into the details and post about it, I think we found find it to be interesting.

It's probably okay. There's not likely to be anything in the specs that is going to indicate "OMG NO". It's probably not the best choice, but probably won't hurt anything. Any reason you're "dead set" on it?

I know that amsoil was one of the top, i use it since 3 years without any complaint except for the price, 17$ liters vs 5.99$ for the gulf since i change it 3x per years, it cost lots of money and if gulf was a good replacement, i will go for it.

Viscosity at 100 looks good, it's on the thicker side. TBN Is on the lower end of the spectrum, which is a factor on the oil change interval you can achieve.

What kind of change interval you looking to achieve?

If it was me, that fine. Could even reuse the oem filter once.
