Very impressive results Chris. While I imagine your goals are mainly to find out what the car can be made to do in a straight line, I ponder the potential of a motor like this in a track car.

That being said, do you think there's enough room in a turbo S2K's engine bay for a lot of extra cooling, or at least enough to keep things together for one whole track session? Assume of course the AC is removed, higher octane fuel, and a more conservative state of tune.

And if I might ask a newbie-ish question - knowing what you know now, and figuring in a reasonable labor rate for your custom welding work - what do you figure the cost to reproduce the system to be? I'd estimate $15k?

Again, well done. The S2000 has a remarkable chassis that is well served by additional power; I'll bet it's a joy to drive.

I would say 14psi on the track is realistic and would be reliable and very responsive. Also I think with additional tuning I could get it to 440-450 rwhp on 93 octane on 14 psi. With race fuel you can run more agressive ignition and you could run less boost, and make even more power than I am at 16.5 psi.

$15K for the whole setup is probably a bit high, which is probably a good start

There is room for extra cooling as well.

Also, I wanted to mention that the dyno services were provided by Performance Motorcars, in Naples Florida. They stayed up really late for these dyno runs

It would be good to note here that the turbo Chris is using is both oil and water cooled.

Wow...I'm baffled. You are insane.

What have you done to the drivetrain? I'm assuming this kind of power could turn your diff/axles into soup.

I can't wait to hear how it runs...

Kaaz diff, Star Stage 3 disk and pressure plate, Spoon Flywheel. Otherwise the drivetrain is stock. Life expectancy will be long as I will not drag race it, but only do pulls from a rolling start. Regarding the package deal question, no I have no plans on selling or producing anything at this point in time. If I were to do it over again I would probably have a slightly different design.... and I would take more time, however this is my daily driver, and I was borrowing another car during the time I was producing it so I was under pressure.
