Default 4 spring compared to 6 spring clutch plates...

I've been having a issue with my clutch ever since the new clutch has been installed. what it does is the pedal will be soft one minute, then stiff the next. I've been trying to figure out what is going on.

I have had one mechanic tell me that it could possibly be a bad slave cylinder, that it might have a bad internal bladder. I have also heard of another guy that installed a aftermarket OEM clutch kit that had the same issues. He replaced it twice with the same style of kit and it still did it both times. He resolved it by just replacing it back to a factory honda clutch.

Anyway, what is the difference between the 4 and 6 spring clutch plates??

No I don't but I guess i can try it since it is cheaper to do that then to do the clutch again...cheaper stuff first.

did that twice, went thru a full bottle of fluid. the clutch felt fine for 10 minutes and it was back to the soft/stiff shit.
