4.77's
just got my 4.77's installed on my ap2. i know that 16% more power? or torque? with the 4.77's. i have a k&n drop-in berk test pipe and exhaust. how much of an increase to the wheels am i looking at?

I'm guessing 16% comes from (4.77-4.1)/4.1 = 0.67/4.1 = 16.34%
Its not an increase in hp nor torque. It's a 16.34% increase in gear ratio, but I don't know how exactly that translates into acceleration gains percentage-wise, whether or not you actually accelerate 16.34% faster... I don't know. It all sounds logical, but we'll have to wait for an expert to come to this thread

4.77's dont seem short at all. esp with the ap2 tranny. i didn't even really notice a difference untill i started racing people. 500 rpm difference at cruising speed isn't that big of a difference to me atleast. i thought it would be overkill but acceleration pre-vtec is way better. wouldn't have gotten any other gears.
