awesome Al, glad you like them and it's nice that the 4.77s aren't looked at as auto-x use only anymore. Here come the 5.1s mmm. Glad to see you have been seeing similar results with gas milage as I since we seem to be the only people on this board that get consistant gas milage with gear swaps. Others beg to differ and insist that running at 600 more rpms will significantly reduce gas milage.

I also have a test pipe on the car but that will come off soon and see if MPG changes.
As I was virtually the only person with the 4.77's at the time I had no comparison. I guess my MPG drop is related to something other than just gearing. Probably is partially related to my lead foot around town. Though that really hasn't changed much though the RPM's just go 600 rpm's higher.
