This would be my first mod if I could afford it. Reliable performance is well worth the small increase in fuel consumption. Having searched the forum regarding this, you may want to look to Puddydaddy to do the mod, just my $.02.

It all depends on how much you drive, that 2 mpg loss can translate into alot of money per year! I do agree though for safe performance increase I can't see a better mod for your money.

i was base (5.5psi then 7.0psi) supercharged plus 4.77s, i loved the combination. others have ran geared FI applications before too, just as your boost/hp climbs then your necessity for gearing diminishes...

appreciate the response.

I really don't see myself going over 350 hp by too much 400 tops probably. I'd love to hear you suggestion for the right gearing with that much hp because I really don't want to spend money on the same parts twice.

Any idea what you run the 1/4 in with your setup with the gears?

Hi All,

I would imagine with FI with the 4.77 gear is not the best choice, however, it is a great choice if you have a sequential gearbox!

well with 4.44, i also have my redline raised to 8500 which means that the max speed in each gear is almost the same and stock gears with an 8k redline.

This thread is interesting...Debating of going either with 4.30 or 4.56.
I too have flashed my car and the redline is at 8500 rpm.

I rode in an ap2 with 4.44 gears and was not very impressed with the acceleration advantages. Then I rode and drove a few ap1's w/ 4.77's and really love the benefits. I guess 4.56's are closest I will get to an ap1 w/ 4.77's in my ap2.

[QUOTE=hecash,Feb 4 2011, 08:39 AM] 4.30 - AP2 - NA - Favor over the 4.10, 4.44, 4.56 and 4.77 for both street and track
