Default 4.77 gears vs. stock 4.10 gears

I have read that the 4.44 gears put the car about 300 RPM over the stock gears while driving. How many RPMs are you guys running at 55mph in 6th gear with the 4.77?

With 4.77's you're about 700 RPM higher than the stock 4.10's.

i didn't get good mpg prior with 4.10s, i think maybe 20-22mpg, too much wot as i do stoplight driving with rare/brief highway use, but, the 4.77s fun factor is worth the extra gallon per week...

I get around 250 miles per tank with the 4.77's. That's a little bit of everything. VTEC daily, city/highway mileage.

Hmm, s2k aok I take it you are now supercharged, are you still running 4.77 gears or is it way too short for the FI??

My actual plan was to supercharge much later down the line but I wouldn't also mind shorter gears, I just get worried because I tend to do alot of highway miles and I don't want to kill my mpg too much..

Would maybe 4.56 be ideal? considering supercharging later..

There a sponser on here that sells them I think he's called hardtopguy (www.hardtopguy.com)

He also sells kits to build your up yourself, I think the gear itself is kia 4.77's.
