Default 4.57 Gears on 2001 S2000

Hello

I've watched videos of S2000's with this gearing. What are the benefits of having this done to my S2000.

What would the cost be?
Will this help more for a daily driver?
It appears to help acceleration on straight aways and coming out of turns for a faster accelearation. True?

Thanks. I keep hearing aout it, but don't really understand.

4.77 FTW

Had em for a week now and it's amazing how much of a difference for the better!

The gears cause the RPMS to match better on my upshifts, and downshifting and matching the revs when slowing down is much better lined up as well. It's like I've been driving my car as though it had 4.77 FD but now that it actually does I look like a better driver

Nice thing is as well that it keeps the RPM up enough that when you shift through the gears you're in VTEC constantly! Feels like my front wheels are gonna jump off the ground on each redline shift.

stupid question:

when you drag the ap1 w 4.67

what gear are you in when you finish passing the line?

does it require an extra shift?
