Default 4.57 gear install cost? *Updated with my install*

I just recently purchased the 4.56 gear set from Ricks2k.com. On a side note, wow! Excellent turn around. Had everything within the same week! I have everything needed for the install. The ring and pinion, all the nessesary replacment parts (sprung for the install kit), and also the yellow box for speedo adjustment.

The yellow box, i can install myself no problem. I just need an idea of what everyone payed in terms of labor for their install. Gonna be calling around soon to see who would do the job but i want to get an idea of what the proper cost should be so i don't get jacked.

Thanks!

** I searched s2ki and found nothing **

**UPDATE**

i got my 4.56/7R ,whatever the heck Ricks2k.com calls it, gear installed friday of last week and the labor was $455 total including tax. The original quote was about 8 hours labor around $560, but i talked to the mechanic and talked him down a little to 6 1/2 hours labor since it wasn't an entire rebuild only ring/pinion. The mechanic was super nice and obliged even though he had full right to stand firm at 8. Anywho. $455, that was dropping the car off and picking it up 6 hours later.

The shop that did it was Colony Tire in Kinston, NC.

There's really nothing i can think to say about the new gear other than HOLY SH*T!, and i'm not a person that gets really excited about mods Best way to explain the difference is the car just feels so much lighter and will just go go go in any gear. Also the individual that did the install, lucky for me, is an ASE Master Mechanic, so the install was PERFECT. The gear whir, noise, vibrations, nada.

Brought it home, installed the yellow box, by wiring in under the driver's side kick panel (#8, circuit E94 on C101 after the junction but before the gauge/ecm T), set it to 11% correction and she's perfect.

I've got quotes from $360-$400 to take off diff, install gears, re-install diff.

Same here.

$70 is ridiculously cheap to me, and I would be worried about the job personally if it was that price just for the fact that it IS so cheap!

$120-$150 for just the installation/removal of the diff, then the other $200 or so for installing the gears in it.

All I gave him was the new gears, my diff and an OEM install kit.

This guy has done 4 S2000 diffs that I know of and all 4 diffs have been ABUSED on the track and off.
