4.33 gears. Anyone have these?
Just curious to see if anyone on this board has the 4.33 final drive gears.
My next mod will definitely be gears. Leaning towards 4.57, although I just took a test drive in an S with the 4.77s tonight what a rush!
Anyways, just looking for impressions on the 4.33s

^^WOW^^ This is the first time I've read a post on the 4.77s to be less than
When I drove the S with 4.77s last night, I was impressed with the rpms not dipping as much between shifts. I'm assuming is this part of what makes it feel faster.
So from what I can tell, if you had to do it all over again you would not have gone with this mod?

First off, the RPMs dipping between shifts has absolutely nothing to do with your final drive. If the car you drove didn't dip much between shifts, then it is because something else is different.
Second, I like the gears, and I'm glad I have them. They just aren't as incredible as everyone makes them out to be. I wasn't even all that impressed with the SC'ed S2000 that I drove. I guess my standards are just too damn high. I am VERY glad that I chose the 4.77s instead of the 4.44s or 4.57s.
