3rd brake light some LEDs out

3rd brake light some LEDs out
Hey guys,
The 3rd brake light is a strip of LEDs and about four in a row in the middle of mine are out. Is this something that is fixable or are they just burned out I would rather not replace it as it is 350$ from the dealer.

No replacement parts for them, I'm sure someone that is handy with electronics and LED's could fix it but for most of us the lights are replaced as one part. You can usually find one in the used forums, or post in the want to buy forum. I've got one for sale, it has a small chip in the plastic in one corner but it isn't noticeable when installed, I'd sell it for cheap if you are interested.
