Default 3d Honda Map Structure - Timing & Fueling

Is anyone able to give me the 3d map information for a standard S2K, the fuel & map structure(fuel / load / rev & timing / load / rev)? I am trying to get a head start on aftermarket ECU, althought the fuelling would be completely incorrect - it would however be a very good starting point. Especially as I understand that Honda's map is more in-line with a turbo config. that then norm.

The only people who can give you the exact info (short of Honda) are the guys at Hondata, and somehow I don't think they'll share

BTW, most Honda ECU's these days are 4 dimensionally mapped, and that includes the S2000 ECU. The RSX ECU could actually be considered to be 5 dimensional in some aspects, but that's very hard for me to visualize.

Wow, UL, you mean you can't visualize hyperdimensional objects? It's a cinch...it's the mathematics behind hyperdimensional probabilities that makes me go a bit loopy (the stuff is really cool, but beyond two dimensional probabilities and my brain starts to swell)

What's the 4th or 5th variable? Also, what does a 4 or 5 dimension map/object look like? Can someone post a sketch or picture please? It's mind boggling

Well, here are all the variables for an RSX:

RPM (input)
MAP (input)
Injector Pulsewidth (output)
Ignition Timing (output)
Cam Timing (input and output )
Knock sensor sensitivity - not sure how to classify this one

And then you also have some feedback variables for part throttle operation, in particular the primary and secondary O2 sensor inputs which help you create the short term and long term fuel trim outputs.

This is why Hondata hasn't released a user programmable setup for the RSX yet. They're still trying to figure out an interface that won't require a PhD to interpret.

Oh, and MacGyver, back when I got my minor in mathematics, we weren't even worrying about hyperdimensional probabilities. Frankly, I was still ing around eigen functions and worrying about Heisenberg from a semiconductor theory standpoint. Somehow I don't regret not having to mess with that anymore.

Heisenberg may have been here...

Can you be _certain_ about that?

For a 4 dimensional object, you have to visualize a 2D image ... painted over a cube, then, take the cube and turn it into a plane...and you would essentially get a 4D image.

Look up Cubism on the internet, Picasso practically paved the way for 4D visualizations.
