I have a CC stage 2 clutch and it too had the what I described as a "lockout" until thr RPM's dropped to 7500k for me. It only happened when I redlined the car.I tried finding the culprit as to why it did this so I swapped in a AP1 slave with a SS line, clutch master cylinder, and had multiple pedal adjustments, it seems the problem is gone. Only reason I bring this up is because the shop I used and every other shop has never had or even heard of a CC having the "lock out" issue.

It got solved by adjusting the clutch pedal.....i know you need a 12mm wrench, but i wasn't the one that did it, after that the "lockout" went completely away
I wonder if that had something to do with my tranny going out?
Because right after the adjustment its when it happen

Mines fixed now but for 2 months was a bitch. I had to shift at 7500k, anything above would "lockout". Took it to several shops to see if they ever delt with this issue or even have heard of it and nothing. The original installer fixed the problem but at the expense of a new clutch slave and master cylinder. This is the only other person who has had the same unknown issue with a stage2 CC.

his tranny broke becuase the clutch was installed and the pedal was not adjusted. so he drove it around on a ****ed up adjustment and destroyed it. by the time they fixed the engagement it was too late. tranny was ****ed. a few money shifts just finished what the nonadjustment started.
PROTIP: installation of a clutch should not cause high rpm shift lockouts. high rpm shift lockouts are a sign of misinstalltion or non adjustment.
