Default 30k mile maintenance required?

Hello, I'm debating whether or not to do the 30k mile maintenance on my MY02. I bent a valve about 6 months ago and paid $2500 to get my car repaired and don't really want to pay for the maintenance check up. My car is also on lease and I have about a 6 months left on the lease. I was wondering if i don't do the 30k mile check up and a mechanical problem happens later does this void my extended warranty? If anyone could please help me with this question it would be much appreciated.

The lease ends in 6 months, don't waste your money.

*edit* Unless, are you planning on purchasing the car when the lease it up?

If you plan on buying it after the lease, then do the 30k service. Otherwise don't waste your money.

Check the terms of your lease. It may stipulate that you are responisble for performing routine maintenance. If so, I'd do all of the required maintenance items that were not performed when the valve was bent.

Either way do NOT pay for 30k mile service. Most of that is garbage and doesn't need to be done or can be done yourself. Fluid changes you need are oil and rear differential. You can change the micron filter yourself. It takes a whopping 5 minutes to do.

^ Diff fluid change, oil/filter change, Micron filter change, adjust valves.

Its all in the back of the owners manual
