Don't forget your tunes...cds...iPOD...6hrs is a long time to listen to nuthin but radio.

why do people worry about such short distances. well i can somewhat see the rock chip issue but our cars arnt that poorly made were you have to worry about a problem driving 300 miles trust me i do more all the time youll be fine

I wouldn't worry about the drive, I'd start worrying when you get to Stockton. Unless the town has improved in the last ten years it's crime rate per capita is extremely high. The cities motto is "Stockton someplace special", locals added the caveat, "Yea, .38 special".
Maybe it's improved, anyway enjoy the drive.

if your really worried about the car and yourself...get an extra qt of oil, a bottle of water and a bag of either beef jerky, gold fish or combos
you could also get a little pillow for your back...just an option
