3 options to remove the crankcase pulley?
I took my S2000 to a local repair shop, they tried to take the crankcase pulley bolt off with an impact wrench at 250 ft-lb with no luck. They told me they have a bigger impact wrench that will definitely take the bolt off. They also told me that it's a risk when taking the bolt off and if the bolt breaks, they are not at fault. They also said that they have broken the crankcase pulley bolts before. This risky procedure would only cost me $30.00.
Can the crankcase pulley bolt actually break? I've never heard of such an incident? If it does break, what are the consequences?
Should I just order the the Moroso tool, which holds the pulley in place and try to manhandle the bolt. This should be the best used way of getting the pulley off. This should cost me roughly $80.00.
Should I just let Honda do it? They quoted me F#%$ing $305.00 just to remove the crankcase pulley and reinstall the new modified pulley.
The Comptech supercharger install was a breeze. Everything went very smoothly except for the crankcase pulley. My brother and I only took 5 hours to install everything else except for the blower and blower brackets.
What should I do? I don't want a $30.00 job to turn into $2,000. Please help.

F x L = tq !!!
With that in mind, have a parnter hold the crank pully holder tool and a LONG Breaker bar. (in my case I had my lil sister assist me) Attach your 1/2'' socket wrench w/ another LONG breaker bar (I used my floor jack lever). It should be a piece of cake

My crank pulley tool handle was just long enough to rest against the shock tower (actually against the SPOON shock tower brace mount). Then I used a 19mm socket, breaker bar, steel tube (total length about 80cm) and my not inconsiderable weight... er strength. It can loose in about 5 pulls.

I used 2- 6 ft steel tubes for extentions and it came out without even trying. Held onto both pipes and just pulled them towards each other. Really not worth the back aches to use a short extention.
I really dont think they torqued this thing down to spec. It's gotta be at least double what they wrote. I've taken off some B series honda crank pulleys and they didnt take that much. This bolt on the F20C is just insane. It's like they used a hydrulic machine to tighten it down as much as it could.
