Default 2nd Gear Grind Question?

Link above is the TSB listed under the FAQ's.....

TSB-00-055 20000919 M/T - Grinding When Shifting Into 2nd Gear

This TSB references only MY00. I bought an MY02 a few weeks ago. I have put about 2000 miles on it since and I have had grind issues with 2nd gear 6 times. The first three times it was when i was shifting at high RPMs around 8-9... However yesterday it happend to me twice when i was shifting between 5-6k, this reassured me that it most likely wasnt due to me reving the car. (Note: I have also been driving stick for 10 years.....) I have read that 2nd gear grind can happend everyonce in a while, but it worried me when it was occuring only at 5-6k....

My car has 14k on it, so the other night with help from a few fellow S2ki guys I changed my Diff,Tranny, and Oil. I was hoping that changing the Tranny fluid would solve some of this issue. I switched over to Synchromesh Friction Modified. A day later, two grinds in a day.....

Does anyone know if there is an issue/TSB with 2nd gear for MY02's? Or what should be my next step since I changed the Tranny fluid and still have grind issues?

Yes, all models 00 through 03 are subject to this. The TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) is simply steps for a Honda mechanic to take to fix the problem - I sense that your question is really "Will Honda fix this for free if my car is not a MY00?" All that matters is if the car is still under warranty. If yes, you're good to go although the dealer might give you some crap about it. If no, you'll have to pay for the repair yourself, no matter which model you have.

What about 3rd gear? This only happens when shifting at high rpms. No other gear grinds except for 3rd. My car is a 2002 with 18k miles.
