#23 underhood fuse keeps blowing
I keep blowing the fuse. It controls tail lights and dash lights. I cant drive my car until I get this fixed since I am driving back and forth to work during hours of darkness next week. I need some ideas quick.
I replaced the stock head unit with an aftermarket head and put an amp in the trunk. The amp is powered from the battery and remotely from the head. The head is powered through an installation adapter harness. I am not sure that it began when I did the stereo but noticed it about 3 weeks later after being stopped by two cops on my way home for my tails being out.
Thanks in advance for your help.

check and see if you hooked up the dimmer wires when changing the radio (orange on aftermarket harness), and if so i would disconnect them
as well like SgtB said, double check all wire connections

This is a common problem for hondas. Most likely a wire is exposed to metal. Have someone replace the fuse and play around with the wires in small sections around the car. It used to happen to me when my intake would touch a piece of metal or sometime on my old hatchback. When i installed new plastic rear panels the wire was exposed from under the panel. It was touching metal when i closed the hatch.

I messed with the wire connectors mounted to the passenger side fire wall in the spare tire compartment in the trunk. What does that control? I will check that out to see if I have contact somewhere. Man this sucks and I sold my old headunit too so cant change them to test that theory.
