220-220-210-205. Good enough to daily?
sup s2ki fam,
Long story short, I was in a non-fault accident in which the opposite party totaled my car. Looked for a s2000 replacement, couldn't find one, so now I'm back in another s2000 .
I did get a PPI done, and besides regular wear and tear, the car is good. The compression test results worry me though. This is my only car, and if it goes boom, I'm f*cked.
Do you think 220-220-210-205 is good enough to daily?
Thanks in advance!

Good enough to daily, good enough to track. Totally fine as far as I'm concerned.
Get valves checked and adjusted if necessary.

Plus, the tech at the shop i had the PPI done said the previous owner might have money shifted (due to the lower compression in the other cylinders), causing a possible bent valve(s)?
Thank you for your input.

if theres more than 105 of variance between cylinders, then there might be an issue...second, the compressions numbers for any of those cylinders are nowhere low enough to be worried about a bent valve...you want to know if the motor was over-reved, then take the valve cover off and check for any retainers that have sunk due to cracking

When I see compression dropping from cylinder to cylinder like that, it makes me think the mechanic was lazy and didn't disconnect the fuel injectors before testing. As the engine gets cranked, more and more fuel washes the cylinder walls, making the rings seal worse.
I bought a Toyota Supercharged MR2 with compression numbers like this, and talked the sales guy down a bit due to the "sick motor". I drove the car for 20 years. Ran fine the whole time, lower end was never rebuilt.

Check valve clearances, adjust as required, don't worry about it, and drive the piss out of it.
