Default 2007 TSB on 2nd gear?

Does anyone know of any TSB's or bulletins that exist for the 2007 models yet? There is a TSB or bulletin for the 2nd gear thunk on AP2's apparently, but I have no idea whether its true and if so, whether it still exists for 2007 model years.

Can anyone shed any extra light?

Are you by any chance referring to the notchy, noisy, grind-like feeling you get when shifting from 1st to 2nd when the transmission is cold?

Because... thats perfectly normal, and although the noise is cringe-inspiring, you're not doing any damage. You'll learn to lessen it as time goes by (double-clutching, pulling the gear into 2nd at certain angles, timing, etc.)

"Just concentrate on driving faster" was some good advice I got when I first asked the same question. Don't worry, the car is rock solid.

On that note, congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the family

Just an FYI, I had that "popping out of gear" TSB done and it made the 1st to 2nd gear shift SOO MUCH smoother. This is not in my head. It was very notchy and would really bother me before. Now its awesome. I know this is not the point of the TSB, but its definitely an added perk.

Jsmply - thanks for the info. Luckily for me, the 2nd gear isnt doing that yet.

bimstone - I end up double clutching 2nd gear shifts and its not something I am used to but will eventually. Nice to hear that its something a lot of people are experiencing. I couldnt wait to get into the family and now that I am in it, can't wait for fair weather so that I can go top down!!
