2006 Maintenance List

2006 Maintenance List
I have a 2006 s2k with 101k miles. Clutch is starting to slip more than what would be expected from CDV or heavier flywheel.
I am building a shopping / maintenance list. Please review it and share your thoughts. Nothing is set in stone, this is the brainstorming phase to see what is best for the car and my pocket book.
22200-PCX-055 DISK, FRICTION 122.62 - AP2 Friction Disk
91006-PCX-008 BEARING, CLUTCH PILOT 15.24 - AP2 Clutch Pilot bearing, does that include throwout bearing?
22100-PCX-005 FLYWHEEL 277.29 -AP1 Flywheel
46930-S2A-003 CYLINDER ASSY., CLUTCH SLAVE 64.69 - AP1 CSC
ACT H021 Pressure Plate $369.00 ?
Total = $848.84
Should I get a valve adjustment, Transmission Fluid change and new spark plugs while I am at it? How much added cost do you think getting those things done will do?
I have only ever done the basic oil change, brake pads and rotors. I helped a friend change a timing belt once but other than that, I don't have much experience. I am in the so-cal area.

Definitely get a valve adjustment done. The DBW 06+ have a very high chance of tightening over time so if the previous owner hasnt got it done then it is a must. You should also get all of the fluids changed while your at it, engine, tranny, diff, brake/clutch.
If you have changed brakes and oil before you should be able to change out all the oils no problem and there are a ton of amazing DIYs on here to guide you thru. Valve adjustment is also simple enough to try on your own if you are mechanically inclined.

Also, your list does not include the clutch release bearing (what Honda calls the Throwout Bearing). Very important to change this, very important to use Honda part here.
If you're going to buy an ap1 flywheel, get one used and resurface it. Otherwise if you're going to buy new, get a lighter aftermarket flywheel. Chromoly. Something around 9-11 lbs.
Your ap2 flywheel is 22 lbs, and is partly to blame for your clutch wearing out so much sooner than an ap1 would have. The ap1 is 14 lbs. Much better, but if you are going to buy new, go a bit lighter.
The only risk is if you go too light, the car may be more difficult to take off from a stop on hills, depending on how you drive.
Also, if you shift lazy, slow, and don't adopt your shifting to the new flywheel, you'll tend to drop out of vtec between shifts.
Lighter flywheel, revs will go up quicker, but down quicker too. So you need to shift faster. Most see this as a benefit.
