Default 2006 clutch master cylinder install issue

Hit a brick wall while replacing my CMC. Due to the fuse box being an inch away from the CMC, I'm having a heck of a time connecting the clutch line and threading the nut back on. It's either the nut dosent thread on right and feels like I'm going to cross thread it. I've asked help on FB, and someone mentioned that removing the fuse box will help, but not sure how to completely remove it. Any trick or tips will be appreciated.

Fuse box lifts out, two release tabs.

Make sure the MC mounting bolts are loose, this helps the MC to shift around and better align with the line.

I️ wasted two hours having the same problem as you. Once I️ finally gave in and moved the fuse box, I️ was able to thread the line in within seconds. Not sure if this is an 06+ issue, but for anyone in the future, save yourself the hassle and move the fuse box.

Why are all the CMCs being replaced?

I loosened the MC and that helped with the creating a bit more space. Silly question, do I need to get into the fuse box to undo the clip?or is the clip located outside the box? I only see one cable going into the fuse box and don't see a clip... I've tried searching for fuse box removal, no avail

I'm assuming I'm supposed to remove the two bolts attached to the fuse box, before I do that, will I mess anything up if I do?

Look to the right of the right blue screw in the pic. You will see one release tab, it’s black plastic. There are two.

Use fingers, no tools needed.

Thanks Billman, I think you're talking about this piece of plastic. I tried squeezing it, moving it, pushing on it, but no movement. Tried to move the clip above it and it broke
