Thanks to Timmigrant for the last post. I have purchased a good used 2005 engine (https://www.ebay.com/itm/115508696051) to put in my 2007 car. With info from this post thread, I'll be moving several required components from my 2007 engine to the 2005 engine to allow it to be a DBW engine that's compatible with my car. While I'm waiting for the engine to arrive, I decided to tackle the job of plugging the port in my 2007 intake manifold to avoid having exhaust gases exit it from it once it is mated to the 2005 cylinder head. I measured the port hole at just over 1/2" dia. I used a 37/64" drill bit, a 5/8"-18 tpi tap and a 5/8" dia x 5/8" long hex set screw. I drilled and tapped the hole long enough to be able to sink the set screw below the face of the manifold. I applied loctite red to the set screw and snugged it up to the bottom of the threaded hole I created. Just wanted to detail this process for anyone else attempting this work.
