Default 2004 X-brace

I'm just curious. I'm not sure if I read this here, but I thought I remember seeing that someone mentioned that the 2004's already have an X-brace. Is that true? Anyone with a 2004 want to look under their car?

I've asked Hardtopguy about this a couple of months ago. His answer was no.

Just by looking at the MY04s, the mounting point look the same. but the overall frame of all S2000 is exactly the same, and all X-braces should fit, but until someone installs one and posts it, we can only supply an educated guess.

As for if it sould help, the place where the x-brace is installed, is the hole under the car where the oil pan is located. If it helped on an MY00-03 then it will help on an MY04.

UCrazyKid,

I installed a soon x-brace on my my04. The install was the same as the my03 and while it seemed to do less than it did on my my03 I still highly recommend it! Great, inexspensive mod that you will feel a difference from
