Muz, not to knock the idea but it's realy not that hard. The shroud is much easier to put in and take out once you make the first test fit cut, and you can go back and forth till you end up with the gap the owner is happy with.

IMO a template would create a hassle since owners will most likely need to do some triming anyway.

A few measurements and some common sence = no problemo

Here is Xviper's install instructions

Snorkel Install

The guide directs air into the radiator. Engine bay temps rise without it during the summer. It costs $27 to replace last time I checked. Cut it and replace it later if you go back to stock.

Muz,

It is difficult to make a pretty cut for the air guide since it is slanted. I just cut all of slanted side of mine off on the left side. I am going with a radiator cover to pretty things up.
