looks good
but with all of that money spent I am still surprise to see the bleed valve. You should invest in a electronic boost controller
The bleed valve is pretty ghetto. I had it on my Monte Carlo (it's running a full T04E turbo). I tried to do that kit VERY cheaply. Since I had it laying around, I thought I'd throw it on to tune for higher boost. Unfortunately, I never opened it enough to do any good. I do have a GM boost control solenoid and harness, but I'm too lazy to install it and try tuning it with the AEM right now. I'm going to wait until I have everything tuned and running perfectly at 3.5 pounds before I up the boost any.

timq: thanks for the breakdown. Although you took a pricey route, the price includes the aem ems and wide band, so its really not too bad. Basically you paid the same price as a comptech supercharger without aftercooler + aem ems and wideband. I'm really anxious to see the power curve for your set up. Hurrry and get that thing tuned!
you're welcome. I hope everyone is enjoying the pics. The price is VERY competitive with a supercharger and the AEM was cheaper than an e-manage with all of the goodies added in. Subtracting the AEM, injectors, and clutch, but leaving in everything else- even the GT30R- the price is still under $3500 installed. With a normal non-watercooled turbo, that price would have been closer to $2500. If possible, I'll try to get some quick videos of it running tomorrow.

did you go with the standard gt 4-bolt, or the t3/t4 style 5 bolt? and how about the turbine A/R, .82 or 1.06?

I didn't see a price for the turbo manifold unlessit's one of these:

Pipes, welding, install $630.00
Exhaust Manifold $175.00

standard 4 bolt T3 with a 2.5" outlet. The .82 would probably work well for more top end power and comes with a 3" outlet rather than a 2.5" outlet. Mine spools VERY quickly and the turbo spins for at least 30 seconds after I shut off the car.

"FULL STEEL BALLBEARING CENTER SECTION

Ported shroud compressor housing, allowing for a more effecient compressor.

compressor specs: GT30 w/ported shroud

.60 a/r

compressor wheel trim: 56 trim wheel

compressor flow: 53 LB/MIN

turbine specs:T3

.63 a/r

84 trim wheel

Water cooled and oil lubricated bearing housing standard.

full steel ball bearing cartridge, not ceramic..."

pipes welding and install is for everything but the exhaust manifold. I spent $175 for the turbo manifold- including thermal coating.
