Was this car from IL?
Is it an AP2 with a custom single exhaust rear bumper cap?

That's also an AP1 steering wheel. And what's with the VSA button? Wasn't that only on DBW cars ('06+)?

Curiouser and curiouser.

What's the chassis VIN? (on firewall, passenger side near battery)

jhmap2149s000834 and it matches the vin in the car. I have paperwork from previous owner who had dmv replace the vin from dashboard and put it on door jam because the dash was replaced since it had scratches.

So the complete drivetrain, steering wheel, dash, and cluster have been replaced.

So, um... What's the title status of this car? It's getting pretty clear that it was totaled and reassembled from used parts; I'm guessing the bumper, windshield, hood, and fenders were replaced too.

Now, maybe all the work was done carefully, and maybe it drives just fine. But even so, if this level of repair wasn't disclosed with the sale, I'd say that borders on fraud.

the title status is clean on it so everything mustve been done off the books.

I tried looking up this VIN but it doesn't work, can you double check what you posted?

Very strange setup, if it's an AP1 engine and tranny, why did they put an incorrect 06+ DBW cluster in it therefore limiting your redline potential of the AP1? Unless I'm missing something.

Also, strange how it's also an AP1 steering wheel...

so the story is the last owner only changed the dash becuase of scratches. I have paperwork from police and dmv that prove that. But i have 06+ seats, ap1 steering wheel.

also its an ap1 ecu so redline is still 9k but its weird to look at with the 8k redline on the cluster
