check to see that you have some freeplay in the clutch rod, if it is too tight it will induce clutch slippage. It happened with me on a brand new clutch. I'd check that first. If the freeplay is normal then you should be looking for a new clutch.

stick your head under the dash and push on the clutch pedal with your pinky finger and see if there is some freeplay in the pedal before the clutch rod runs up against the piston in the master cylinder. Look at the firewall and you can see the clutchrod move as you put pressure on the clutch pedal. The pedal should move maybe 1/2 inch before the rod runs up against the piston. If there is no freeplay/clearance and the pedal feels tight then the clutch rod needs to be shortened to provide some freeplay. When there is no freeplay the clutch rod is putting pressure on the clutch to disengage and that will cause slippage. To adjust the clutch road freeplay you use a 12mm wrench to loosen the nut on the clutch rod and then turn the rod shaft. Turn the rod shaft clockwise to lengthen it and reduce freeplay, or turn it counter-clockwise to shorten it and increase freeplay.
