$200 AP2 Valve Cover 4 AP1? Is it really worth the money?

I bought AP2 valve cover to help the oil consumption. But I don't really notice any effect. I guess my car just likes to drink oil haha.

Yeah ive been looking on ebay and the only ones I can find are 06 and up. None for sale in the classifieds really. Not many AP2 owners have extra VC for no reason lol

just search. i've seen 2 04-05 ap2 valve covers for sale recently for $100 shipped. mine has been in my attic for a year waiting on me to get it powdercoated. lol

amsoil full synthetic (signature series i think) and a clean pcv helped my oil consumption.

06+ valve covers won't work?

Nope. They only have one cam sensor on the VC opposed to two on the 00-05

Dont you agree that also eliminates relief of any crank case pressure? Unhook the pcv and tell me your dipstick doesnt pop up after a hard drive.

Yeah to an extent a lot of people Opt for a catch can instead.... I know a ton of people that have opted for that instead it seem to help them out quite a bit if they didn't want to run a PCV ... they're quite cheap
