Default $200 AP2 Valve Cover 4 AP1? Is it really worth the money?

Besides out of pure opinion, does anyone with experience from a 04-05 AP2 valve cover swap believe it was really worth the money? In my mind, this is how they should have designed the VC for the AP1 in the first place so I would like to get it. I just wonder if it will really help PCV oil consumption as much as I am thinking. Just want some testimonies really, lets hear it!

Helped me significantly at track days. Cut my oil consumption on track to below half.
But you didn't mention if for track or regular driving. I don't think it affects regular driving consumption.

Why would you pay $ 200 for a valve cover I have two ( not counting the one I got on the car) none of them cost me $200

You can get a brand new AP2 cover from Majestic for about $165.

In my opinion, its worth it even if you do spirited driving on the backroads (in VTEC). List price new is $262. Majestic sells theirs for $180.

I have a ap2 valve cover but with my turbo setup, still had issues. Had to install a catch can between the pcv valve and the manifold.

The only true way to "eliminate" the issue is to do away with the PCV entirely... No connection from VC to IM= No oil to be sucked in and burped out...

Perhaps you guys should check majestic honda once more. 180 plus shipping equals $200

It also means no relief of crankcase pressure as well. I prefer to not blow front/rear main seals or anything else. Appreciate the input though!

Sorry forgot to specify. No track use. Just VERY spirited driving daily.
