AEM F24c program

all the usual disclaimers apply.

This was for the engine in this thread.

The RC tech 550cc injectors I used with this program are sitting in the workshop surplus to requirements as I upgraded to ID1000's when I moved to E85. They also have plugs with short pigtails on them.

PM me if you are interested in them real cheap.

Ry,
I am impressed with the Mechanical aspects of this build. Putting aside the electronics, I like the idea of combining the H22 and F20C components to achieve the "stroker". Absolutely Awesome build.......

Low and behold I have it all back together now after the engine being at the machine shop for 4 months. After driving for 2 days I just had the CEL come on and it's throwing P0171 and P0170 - fuel system too lean. DUH.

Real question, is there anything relatively inexpensive I can do without a full AEM EMS or Kpro or any standalone ems? These are pretty far outside my current budget (and knowledge comfort zone)

Is it safe (loose definition of safe) to drive the car with this on and without full tuning?

Yes, it is unsafe. You need to see what exactly your AFRs are, though. A stand alone is the proper way to do it, but you could use an adjustable FPR and an emanage or VAFC to pull fuel out of any areas that are too rich. PM me if you need pricing on anything. I'd really suggest a stand alone.

So after a day of normal (and some vtecing) driving the CEL has turned itself off... this is interesting. I wonder if it is adjusting itself.

@vivid. where are you located? I'm within about 2 hours of Houston if i needed to do a dyno tune.

Does the computer base its decision on O2 sensor readings?

My mods are 2.4L stroker, Fujita CAI, PLM header, test pipe, cheapbay exhaust, 4.777 r/e, and probably some other stuff i can't remember.

Don't forget the key K24 component - the crank.
