havent decided if im gonna try a vtec killer. lots of options, so little time.

Anything is possible, if you have the right amount of money.

I was talking to an engine builder in Las Vegas. He said that he could bore and stroke the engine to 2.5, but if you wanted to keep the 9k redline that you would have to special order some titanium parts rods, pistons, rings (including springs for the head. ) He actually said that you could push the redline to about 11 or 12,000.

Remember, making a big engine is only part of the equation. You have to be able to deliver the power to the street. My conversation with him (2 hour laters) included:
New tranny possibly from an RX7
7 inch Ford rear end
Special order cryo treated half axles
$$$
$$$
Total picture was about $50K to 70K Too rich for my blood

Just does not seem worth it, to me. How bout you

you are prob. talking about a car that would last a couple of hundred miles.
