Default 1st to 2nd 9xxx rpm shift...

Hey guys, i have the dual r1 amuse and i have been noticing something.

If i am at a light in 1st gear, and i start to role and floor it heavy to take the S up to 9xxx and shift into second, theirs a pop sound. It doesnt sound bad, but i cant figure out why it does this. It only does it like this, any other time i 9xxx shift it wont pop. ex...(in 2nd to 3rd on the highway shifting at 9...)

I am thinking its the tone of the amuse, because it is somewhat restricted for backpressure. It also drones a lot.

Does anyone have any input to what it might be?...

Its not backfiring, no flames. The exhaust tips have the normal black in them, and the bumper is still yellow.

You don't have to show flames to have a backfire. A small backfire can be contained entirely in the exhaust system and you won't see it.

Sounds like a minor backfire... very possible especially if you don't have the cat in place

BAD

This little split was from a backfire.....expensive and hard to repair. Don't let it do that anymore. Change your driving style in first and second or loose your exhaust.

This little weld was over $100
