1999 keyless? second topic
Ok since last topic got closed due some people fancying each other and making compliments to each other, I decided to open a new one.
If I open the drivers side of the door the passenger door also unlocks but not the other way round.
So I need an actuators on the drivers side and then simply install the EOM alarm? Can anyone suggest a decent aftermarket alarm that is also available in Europe (I hate customs)
I currently own a 1999 rhd S that doesn't has the keyless entry that Honda introduced in 2000. I was wondering if it is possible to install an EOM keyless system/alarm inside my 1999 S and what parts I need. There is this aftermarket alarm installed but it doesn't unlock the doors when i press unlock, i still have to manually open the door with my key. Currently I removed the fuses from the aftermarket alarm cause it went of spontaneously and was very annoying.
Any help is appreciated. smile.gif

LOL.
Just keep in mind there is no OEM alarm. The one on US cars is an aftermarket device installed by American Honda Motors.
Seriously, just go to your local auto alarm install place and get an alarm installed with actuators for your doors. Ask if they can integrate the boot into it as well.

The US dealers could install add on security, which added glass breakage, not much else. It was a OEM part, not aftermarket.
The car already had keyless, so no actuators needed to be added. Not sure if Aus cars didn't have power locks installed originally.
