Default 15400-pl2-306 oil filter

I ordered a 15400-pcx-306 oil filter online, and the vendor sent me a 15400-pl2-306 filter instead. Is this a usable alternative for my daily driven 2007 s2k?

15400-pl2-306 is an Acura NSX oil filter. You should send it back for the correct S2000 oil filter. I do not know the fitment of this filter, nor its high RPMs oil pressure stats.

Buy the correct filter.
Torque it to spec (15-18LB-FT) using the tool and a torque wrench.

You can get the correct oil filter delivered to your front porch by midweek via Amazon. Or just walk into any Honda dealer's parts department and get one (and the washer) today. Required torque is right on the side of the filter.
