Default 12mm spacers

12mm spacers between the diff and the axles. I am putting in a OS GIKEN 1.5 way and comptech reinforced diff and these spacers were recommended to me. Anyone have them or know what they are?

Thanks
Chris

Are you talking about this?

From J's racing webpage.

The drive shaft of S2000 which was designed at the normal car amount, being basic doesn't become an ideal angle in S2000 which lowered a car amount, it causes trouble such as the inboard damaging and the exchange lifetime becomes short extremely.
( Cases which are many at the high grip tire and the LSD wrapping arrival vehicle specifically )
The 80,000 yen cost occurs when exchanging a pure drive shaft.
This was to do the distress being of the S2000 owner, but the drive shaft can be about 10 mm stretched in the side by attaching this " SPL drive shaft spacer" and can bring the angle of the drive shaft close to the condition with pure car amount in the condition which lowered a car amount.
The burden gets not to spend it on a result, a drive shaft and to be able to be turned.
( In our company's test, a lifetime was about twice extended ).
In the sports running, it prevents the drive shaft damaging which was a maximum defect and it extends the exchange cycle of the drive shaft surely.
It is the necessity of the S2000 sport running which doesn't ask the street a stage from the circuit.
※ The set for one piece of either side ( The aluminum spacer and the exclusive use bolt & exclusive use nut )
