I know you were specifically asking about valvetrain, but in addition to cams, you'll need to change your intake manifold to make power at that rpm. The IM has a big effect on where the engine makes power.

You'll need something with larger diameter, shorter runners and a larger plenum...or an individual throttle body IM.

I've seen a daily driven 10K rpm B16, but never a F20.....or any other motor for that matter...

I vaguely remember that thread that seemed like the "last straw". He's one of those guys who knew what he was talking about, willing to share and tried to help others out. Then, a couple of guys flamed him and poof, not seen again (much).
