0w40 Castrol German Formula
I use Castrol 10w30 titanium. I've looked for a thread about this particular oil but cant find anything about this European stuff!
I know many people run 40 weight which seems fine. Was wondering if the car runs a bit sluggish or anything with it in there.
Also it is a grade 4/5 synthetic that I've been wanting to try in my car.

I used it in my last fill and it seemed to be working fine.
Honda in Europe actually calls for 5W-40 in the S2000 so yeah nothing to worry about.
A funny thing I found when comparing the spec sheets between the 0W-40 and 5W-40 is that the 5W does actually have a lower kinematic viscosity both cold and hot.

But I've realized that with the 0w30 and 5w30 as well it seems to be thinner oil lol

Well I didn't post any link but here you go

5W-40 http://www.opieoils.co.uk/pdfs/castrol/EDGE5W-40PDS.pdf
I think the 0W is group 4/5 and the 5W is 3.

I never noticed any sluggishness running a 40 weight oil, if there is a 1-2 hp difference you would never detect it or notice a performance difference. I do find that the valvetrain is quieter with a 40 weight. I run Redline 5w40, looking to keep oil consumption to a minimum in my ap1.
I left a bottle of Castrol Edge 5w40 and a bottle of Redline 5w40 in my garage this winter. I went to move them recently and the Redline 5w40 was much more fluid than the Castrol Edge 5w40 which appeared to have thickened up significantly more than the Redline. I attribute that to Redline being a group 4 and 5 synthetic oil, and I would still rank the Castrol Edge as a group 3 with maybe a bit of group 4 mixed in. Not the most scientific experiment, but I could definitely notice a difference. Temps tended to hover around 30 degrees F in my garage.

Personally I like a bit more viscosity. Something like 0w40 or 5w40 gives you the best of both worlds, they provide quick flow to engine parts at cold temps and a bit more viscosity at high temps. I like the Titanium additive, it is a good anti-wear additive. Try the oil and see how you like it, nothing to lose. If you ever track your car in California the extra hot temp protection would be worth it too.

Castrol edge also comes in a full synthetic high mileage formula.
