Default 06 VSA and VSA Indicator Light On...Help!

hey guys. I was wondering if you can help me resolve this issue that I am having. Recently I got my clutch replaced. Everything went smoothly. The clutch is in and working fine.

Anyways, after the clutch was installed, i noticed my steering wheel is offset to the right. I'm going straight however steering is at the 1-2 o'clock. When they did the clutch, they had to mark the steering column and detach it so they can lower the motor to get to the bolts.

Anyways, I'm thinking the spline didn't get put on exactly hence the offset in steering?

can this cause my VSA and VSA indicator light to turn on? It would go away once I shut the car off and turn it back on. However it would come back on if I drove more than 10-20 miles.

I would like to get this fix ASAP. Thank you.

After fixing this, I would probably do an alignment as it is recommend after replacing the clutch due to them lowering the sub-frame.

What year is your car? Sounds more like they need to reset the EPS.

look like they didnt lock your steering wheel straight or/and didnt mark the spines before removal. dont fix it with an alignment. take it back and have them redo the shaft so the wheel is straight. make sure they dont get lazy and try to adjust it with an alignment. i could be wrong with all this but thats what i would do.

as far as the light. make sure everything was plugged back in. another thing is if they couldnt even do this right, they might have left some wires wired up and lowered the engine and might have stretched and broke some wires

Thnx for the suggestion...they did mark it but didn't lock the steering.

Well now it seems that both light remain on even if I shut the car off. How do I go about resetting it?

I don't think any wires was smash or left disconnected. He moved the wires out of the way.

almost all issues after some work was done is usually caused by the work that was done. i really dont know much bout this system as i never worked on them yet. best thing is to recheck all the work that was done and than look at other options like resetting which i dont know how either

i agree with you. I'm going back and having them fix the steering and straighten it out before doing an alignment.

I am hoping that will reset the VSA light. From my search, it seem you have to take it into honda to get it reset.

I hope someone can chime in and let us know if there is another way.
