It doesn't have to be exactly 10% and 40%. Basically just enough throttle to maintain speed/RPM. Then quickly change to a higher angle that's not WOT. Do this in gear at speed. I did it in 5th at around 3000 RPM on flat ground. Don't stress over the exact values. Just go from low throttle to mid throttle.

Thanks.
I just want to gather some data. From 10 years of tuning engines, I know that anything much leaner than 15.5 AFR reduces torque noticeably and can hurt throttle response. If it's really lean like 17+, it'll feel like hesitation.

Tried doing this earlier, it was a total failure. I wasn't anywhere close to 40% throttle. Lol! Did you do this stationary? At 10% throttle, what rpm are you at?

Tried after work, too much traffic around though and didn't quite hit 40%.

Can you upload the actual datalog? If it won't let you do it here, you can upload at the Hondata forum. http://www.hondata.com/forum/viewtop...17928&start=15
Or I can PM you my email address. Let me know.

Sorry, I never saved it and deleted it from my flashpro already. :/ I'll try again later this week and post-up.

Keep in mind it did not give him any problems at WOT, only on the initial application of the throttle. Once the "burp" passed, car would accelerate normally.

My '07 has started to do the same here in the last few months, hesitation on tip in at low rpm. High Ambient temps(not soaked) and high humidity seems to exasperate it. Pulling away from a redlight is now requiring concentration. Throttle body is clean, map sensor clean... I need to start logging and quit brushing it under the rug.
