06+ AP2: SRS Light still on after Reset
Hey guys,
Any guidance to my next course of action?
I just reset the SRS light using the paper clip method. After the two flashes, the light still comes on, which I guess indicates there's an actual issue.
The only thing that's been done is that the seats have been removed.
I've checked all the plugs under the seat of the driver and passenger side and tried resetting again with the same results.

When you swap the driver seat out, you have to keep the oem sensor under the new seat, in relatively the same position. If you replaced your passenger seat then I don't know what you can do, the weight sensors are on the actual rail.

Neither were replaced. They were just taken out and put back in.

Hello,
A body shop has be dealing with the same situation. It has come down to replacing the whole SRS unit. By replacing the whole unit, a code came up that said the seat weight sensors needed to be calibrated. Long story short, the srs system is a pain in the butt. All the shop has been doing is chasing around the demon to rid the lights and stuff. We have even bought a new airbag and everything. I would take it to Honda and have them look at it. I know that sucks, but they can probably do everything right. You probably need the seat sensors calibrated for the light to go away.
BTW, alot of stuff was taken so its replacing stuff to get everything working correctly. Good luck is all i have to say!!
