06 3500 miles clicking noise.
Whats up everyone. I have an 06 S2000 with 3500 miles. There's a slight clicking noise coming from front of the engine. Sounds to me like it could be the belt tensioner but not sure. Has anyone encountered this. The noise is on all the time and can be heard at idle. Another place where you can hear it from is from the vtec solanoid. What I was going to do was take the belt off and turn the car on and see if the noise goes away. Thanks again guys for your time.

An S2000 engine is going to tick. they all tick. they tick louder than most other engines. The question is..is this ticking normal? 
Unless you can describe exactly where its coming from, and its frequency in relation to the engine RPM, the only way to diagnose is to take it to someone who can listen in person.
