Hope this is the right place for this thread as I am still pretty new here. Someone is selling a 05 F22c head and block with 5000 miles on it for a decent price and I would love to pick it up for a boost build. My question is, are the heads and blocks the same and swap-able, besides using my sensors and TB since I have DBW. Please lmk what is and isn't interchangeable between the early ap2 04-05 and the current 06+ Any info will be much appreciated thanks guys!

The block & head should be interchangeable...but as you said, you'll need to swap your sensors and intake manifold + TB.

The cylinder head is different. 06 and later heads are not machined for the air injection ports.

You can put an early head on a 06 and later car, but not the other way around.

The cam and crank sensors are also different.

So I can use this 05 long block on my 06 just as long as all the sensors and tb us swapped over correct?
