Default '03 s2000 Headlight issue

Sup S fam
I've been having an extremely annoying re-occurring issue with my headlights. It started with the drivers side, it would flicker and then go out. Then it stopped and my passenger side started doing it, and now both are doing it!! It seems to happen mostly when i hit a bump or start to take off from a dead stop. Its still more prevalent in the passenger side at the moment but less frequently it will be the drivers side, usually after the passenger side has already gone out. When it flickers and goes out I can flip the lights off for a few moments and flip them back on and the out headlight will in turn come back on. I was driving home on the highway once when my drivers side was doing it and it would start to flicker when I would get on the throttle but then the other day it was flickering and id punch the throttle and it would stop. I'm just beyond frustrated about this and am asking for some guidance in where to start my trouble shoot. My thoughts are possibly something rattled loose in the ballasts like a ground or something, i have frayed wires somewhere in my harness, or maybe the relays? Im more lost because its both sides doing it, would be easier if it was just one side. Any input would be some much appreciated. Would like to cover all my options before i go out and pay an arm and a leg for two new ballasts.
P.S. If anyone has a link to wiring schematics that would be a big help to.

Could be a loose ground in my opinion, I'm not sure what your budget is but if you need ballasts and are willing to go non-oem I have a guy that I trust for years that has given me some ballasts that I used on my previous motorcycles (he has both car and motorcycles in both slim and non-slim kits) for a decent price (under 150 for the pair). I know a lot of ballasts are from China, and to each their own, but to my knowledge the ones I've gotten from him and I've still had the originals since 8 years ago when he started his business, and they've held up perfect, every single one.

Thanks for the input. If I go the ballast route I actually have tracked down a set of oem's locally for 200

I'm not saying this is the solution, but a common symptom of a failing HID bulb is flickering and intermittent function. My HID bulbs exhibited these symptoms when they were about to die. My solution was to simply replace the bulbs.

much similar to any commercial light fixture when flickering on and off starts it is either the bulb or the ballast. First start with a new bulb if that doesn't fix the issue then you will need to consider the ballast. Check all the wiring while you are in there.
