I have an '00, and I can tell you we only have 1 "wimpy" little horn mounted by the radiator. The first two years were this way (I think), then they added the second horn mounted by the airbox.

If we ('00/01) convert, there is additional wiring required and a bigger fuse.

I am looking into just getting the low tone from the '04.

02 has 2 horns. Still sounds pathetic.

When I pulled that pathetic loser of a horn out of my '00, I noticed that it said "3A." A 3 amp horn? The Hella Supertones came with a relay, I found an inline fuse holder in a toolbox drawer, and rewired things for the Supertones. The stock horn wire was pretty small...

Does the lower horn look the same ? I just got mine and the lower horn looks to be a tad smaller than the 02. The horn sounds odd. Like I can hear the old and the new horn together.

All I know is that the horns on our MY05 sound rediculous. I love the rest of the car, but the horns have got to go. Reminds me of a Chevy Cavalier, or worse.
