Hello, I have a 2001 S2K w/ 90k miles. Recently when driving around time with the a/c on or off the car bogs when driving from a complete stop. Happens when I am trying to accelerate and the rpms are under 4k. Additionally, I now have started noticing a strong fuel smell when I arrive at my destination and park the car. I live in the desert and it is over 100 degree on a daily basis. I have no CEL and never had any problems with the car before.

Any suggestions?

Leaky injectors? Would explain the bogging... have you done a tune up recently? checked the plugs for excess carbon/etc etc etc?

when the engine is cold and the Weather too , start your engine and immediately check your fuel rail for any leak especially your fuel pulsation damper .

fuel evaporate faster than water , you have to be fast so you can see it .
