Anyways what would u recommend since u seem pretty mechanically inclined. Changing the whole head or just the certain valves that are bent/ broken

There shouldn't be a need to replace the head unless it somehow got warped or cracked. You should just have to replace the bent/burned valves. I would take it to a competent shop and have it inspected and have the valves replaced. Maybe an upgrade to AP2 retainers while it is being worked on.

I agree with what Murph says. Find a shop that specializes in s2000's or vtec hondas and go from there.

Man there is no shops around here that specialize in s2000's there are some guys who do pure Hondas but idk if id trust em with an s2k.

I have someone who wants to sell me a whole head with 72k miles for 350 shipped.
Then i messaged a buddy thats good with deep engine work and asked how much hed charge to replace valves and retainers ect in 1 cylinder only mean while i save up money to rebuild the engine and he told me 400....

400 to change one set of valves??? And this is a buddy? Wow. If you have the know how to remove the head on your own (assuming that is your plan). I don't see why you wouldn't be able to swap the valves yourself. I would say that is probably the easiest part of the job.

Well ive done it before but i didnt wanna do it again. The last time i did it was on my first GPW s2k and the mechanic that put my valves and springs put em on.
Not really concerned about the labor work though now im mostly concerned about the cost just becuz my girls birthday is coming up on Monday.
I mean i would need 4 valves retainers seals ect which is prolly 60-100 maybe? Plus new head gasket 50 bux?

If you are concerned with cost, then I think you answered your own question. 175 to repair vs 350 to replace.
