5w-40 though IMO is the way to go, I have had nothing but good results from Eneos. The OP asked for input on ENEOS 0w-50, I gave my input (go with 5w-40) from my experiance and backed it up with a small study that we did on Eneos in general, sure there is a ton of room for skeptics, but there always will be. The study was never meant to convince others, but was only for our benifit, which it served very well.

OP, there are obviously conflicting opinions in your thread, you will just need to make your own decision and go with it. I think the one thing you can take from this is DO NOT USE the 0w-50.

My posts are really only to assist the OP with obviously a different perspective than some others, so I am going to avoid any additional debate, because I am not trying to convince anyone, or argue. I know what I know and am comfortable with that and that is all that matters

I do want to make it clear that I AM NOT bashing any of the other oils out there, infact I would bet that all of the major brands (amsoil, redline, Klotz, etc.) are just as good, I just happen to like the 5w-40 Eneos, and feel that the weight is perfect for my driving conditions (driving temps from 30-100 F, and more spirited driving) so I went with it.

p.s. I will never run ANY oil 7500 miles in any of my cars, that is just the way I am
